Our friends bring out both the best of us and the worst of us. Throughout my entire life, through the highs and lows, I have had the best of friends surrounding me. Last week I achieved one of my goals. I set a goal out thirteen months ago to be able to walk 5 km to raise money for cancer research. Having cerebral palsy and spending the majority of my day in a power wheelchair makes this goal seems unrealistic or possibly insane.
